Women are different!
Because of being a woman, but also because of pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and small children, women deal with different problems than men and have to be treated differently!
A woman does not have to deal with the typical “women’s problems” alone, “sit out” the pregnancy with pain, go into the birth or a cesarean section unprepared, nor do she have to “wait” after the birth for things to get better or go back to “the way they were before”. !
Also, many orthopedic problems that occur years after pregnancy, birth, or cesarean section are still related to these events and require attention.

Waiting doesn't automatically make you fit again!

But not only due to a possible pregnancy and birth, but also due to being a woman alone, you often find the following problems that I can help you with:
- Orthopedic problems, from back pain to tension in the shoulder and neck muscles, posture problems, hip, knee and shoulder pain,
- Weakness in the core without/with back pain,
- Menstrual and abdominal pain,
- Pelvic floor dysfunction, bladder prolapse, uterine prolapse and incontinence,
- Problems with a (long-ago) appendix scar or cesarean section scar,
- Insufficient fitness due to lack of time
And the best thing about physical therapy!?
With the appropriate diagnosis and referral from your family doctor or specialist for physiotherapy, a large part of the costs are covered by statutory health insurance.
In 2024, this share will be €55.41 for 45 minutes of physiotherapy at the ÖGK.
The deductible is therefore “only” €24.59. Depending on the tariff, additional insurance may cover the rest.
